Gultekin and I worked together for a number of years. At first I was his direct line manager, later he reported to me indirectly. In both cases, it was a great pleasure to work with him.

In those years, Gultekin literally single-handedly transformed our approach to web application design from a largely developer-lead GUI creation to a fully user-centric, properly user-tested UX-lead model. Working in a team with the Head of Product, Gultekin introduced a number of good techniques for effective requirements gathering and for conveying them to the development team, many of which we still use today.

One of the largest projects Gultekin worked on during his time at Arkessa was the complete re-design of our main web portal - Emport. He was responsible for the graphical and behavioural design of the application as a whole and also significantly contributed to the implementation using mainly SASS/CSS, Bootstrap and Angular.

To this day, we receive praises from customers about how usable, modern and sleek Emport is.
